Foraging and cooking workshops
Take a voyage of edible discovery. Have you ever wondered what plants are growing around Brighton that you can pick & eat? These workshops will be led by forager Vera, who will guide you around Racehill Community Orchard and surrounding areas to find edible plants, herbs and fruits. You will bring back the bounty you have harvested to create a delicious lunch together. You will get to take home some information about what plants you can find on Racehill.

Racehill Community Orchard is in between Wilson Ave and Swanborough Drive, accessed by a small path which runs up to Racehill Allotments.
What to bring: Please bring sturdy shoes, tough clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and things to keep you warm and dry. The hill is quite exposed so can be chilly at times.
Who can come? These workshops are for residents of Whitehawk, Manor Farm and Bristol Estate & Racehill Orchard volunteers only.
What does is cost? It’s FREE.
