Brighton Green Drinks is a monthly social meet up for anyone involved or interested in environmental issues. If you like people, beer and sustainability, then you should be at the World Famous Green Drinks. Green Drinks is usually held on 4th Wednesday of the month.

This month: Pesticides are not just used to grow the food that we eat – they are all around us, sprayed on the streets and paths, parks and playgrounds and around schools and hospitals daily exposing all of us to their ill effects. PAN UK has been campaigning to end the use of toxic pesticides for many years and has this month launched a campaign to try and turn Brighton & Hove into the first pesticide free city in the UK. This talk will look at the wider issues of pesticides and the harm they cause and provide details on what PAN UK is trying to achieve in Brighton and how you can work with us to achieve that goal.
