Presenting for the Terrified
With Ian Jones (Learning Flows)

Would you like to give presentations to groups of people, but get that horrible queasy feeling at the thought of it? Then maybe this is for you.

The first principle of this workshop is that you will never be pressured to do anything that you don’t want to do. You can go at your own speed, and develop your skills in a way that suits you. If you want to come along and watch that’s fine. We all learn at different speeds and in different ways.

The key practical aim of the course is that by the last week, you are able to give a five minute presentation to an audience. Its your choice whether you actually want to present in front of an audience. The aim is to equip you so that you can if you want to.

Equally important goals are that

1. You are more aware of your blocks and issues when faced with an audience, and have skills and strategies to overcome them

2. You will develop skills of message crafting, so that your words (and images) have more impact

3. You value the significance of your own personal style, and begin to identify what it is.

You don’t need any prior qualifications or experience. Just a desire to learn something

These workshops take place over 4 Thursday mornings starting 25 February 2016.
