Prime Time at Volunteering Matters will be hosting an all day event on Saturday 19th November to celebrate International Men’s Day at The Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton, BN1 1AF.
The Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Councillor Pete West will open the event at 1030 and it will run through the day until 1600.
There will be a large number of local organisations promoting the work they do to support men living in the city, particularly those aged 50+.
We’ll have interactive sessions and entertainment running throughout the day including massage, Tai Chi, Boccia and a performance from Silver Strings and there will be hot food served at lunch, drinks and snacks throughout the day.
This is a free event open to everyone and we’ll give a special welcome to any men aged 50+ who would like to volunteer with us to run a group about something they have a passion for!
