Base Fest 2 – Below Zero: Issues Facing The Homeless Community
Brunswick Community Festival Group and First Base, First Impressions Project present a one day winter festival at
The Friends Meeting House in Ship Street on Saturday 19 December 12-4pm.
This free event will seek to raise awareness of the issues facing the homeless community and other isolate people during the so called ‘festive season’ and winter months as temperatures drop to below zero.
Over the past two months, BCFG has been delivering a range of social educational and creative arts workshops, which will all feed in to the festival event.
World food, charity stalls, arts and crafts, music, winter grotto.
This project was made possible thanks to a community grant of £5,000 from Sussex Community Foundation (Cullum Family Trust Fund).
