The Brighton Non-Fiction Book Club

We are a brighton based book club into exploring non-fiction books!

We are interested in exploring art, economics, culture, politics, history, biographies, science, philosophy, anything factual. We meet monthly on the last Thursday of each month.

We look forward to seeing you at our meet-ups for some stimulating discussion and debate!

This month’s book is “Hillbilly Elegy” by J.D. Vance.   The book is not overtly political, but a memoir of the Southern White working class in the USA.   Nevertheless, it has assumed a momentum following Trump’s election.
