A meeting on the themes of war, peace and internationalism, to reflect upon the escalation of conflict in the Middle East, especially the latest Israeli attacks on Gaza, events marking the centenary of the start of World War One, the continuing reach of World War Two and the cold war, the case for scrapping the UK’s own weapons of mass destruction by not renewing Trident, and the urgent need for the UK to adopt a progressive foreign policy.
