Suitable for beginners.

This course will explore a specific kind of signs, signs of societal changes in response to environmental changes.

An introduction will target the specificity of those signs inside the landscape of semiology by considering the determinations that change implies. Then each session will question a word that we commonly use, and associate to it a notion that we will try to conceptualize to help the problematization:
1. “Food” & empathy;
2. “Resources” & commodification.
3. “Intelligence” & intuition;
4. “Innovation” & technology;
5. “Power” & care;
6. “Spirituality” & genuineness.

As the introduction and first topic will be covered in our first session, we should have time for a concluding session, the 7th, where we will summarize the results of our work and welcome suggestions for future work.
