Join park ranger Paul and Butterfly Conservation Sussex for a gentle stroll around the chalk grassland at Castle Hill National Nature Reserve, tucked away behind Woodingdean.
Target species include Adonis blue, Small Blue, Small Heath and various skippers.
There are gradual slopes with steeper banks to explore. Open to all. Dogs on leads please. Walking boots advised.
Meet at Woodingdean car park, just up the road from Bexhill Rd / Falmer Rd junction. Bus numbers 2, 22 (get off at Downs Hotel and walk up the road to car park)
