During the early 1960s Martin Luther King and the nonviolent civil rights movement sought to coerce the United States Government into taking decisive action against racial segregation. This lecture will explore King’s struggle to make President Kennedy an effective ally of African Americans.

This is an open public lecture and everyone is welcome to attend, but we do ask that you book your place as numbers are limited.
