Sustainability Tour of the Brighton Waste House
Join the Sustainable Business Partnership CIC for a Sustainability Tour of the Brighton Waste House in East Sussex. Built in 2014 as a University of Brighton project, the Waste House was Europe’s first permanent public building to be made almost entirely from waste material from households and construction sites. The Waste House acts as a ‘living laboratory’ for ecological architectural design and delegates will get to see first-hand how ‘waste’ materials destined for landfill can be re-purposed.
This event is part of the Utilise Plus programme and is fully-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). As such, only those from eligible organisations can attend.
