SUMMER NIGHTS…The South Downs at Night
Brighton & Hove City Council Ranger Service and the University of Sussex have partnered up to provide the opportunity to explore the South Downs at night Experience night time wildlife as never before
Moth Trapping (See up close the beautiful moths attracted by the moth trap light)
Bat boxes (Detect the echo location of bats flying around)
Thermal Imaging (We hope to catch a glimpse of foxes & badgers through the camera)
If clear we will be watching the night sky close up with Telescopes from the University of Sussex
With Rangers, Astronomers and local experts on hand to tell you more about our local night life!
Meet at 8.30pm at the top of Beacon Hill Road .
