FUB has a new home!
Over the Summer we have been working with a new partner, the Albion Life project, a community organisation based in the Albion and Tarner area of Brighton. The project has been running a community garden and has been developing a community space, with offices, meetings spaces, a repair space with woodwork and electronics, as well as pottery.
They invited us to work with them in the community space they’ve been developing, called the Albion Hub, located in the Thornsdale tower block. We’ve established a new base here, with a new cupboard for our bits and pieces and a lovely seminar room for face to face classes. So we’ve been planning new courses and have organised an Open Day for Saturday 17th September at the Hub, so do come down and check it out.
As well as face to face classes, we will be continuing with Zoom courses online, and we have some great new stuff coming. We will be announcing our new schedule in time for the Open Day, so watch this space – more news soon!
The Open Day will be from 1-5pm, Saturday Sept 17th. The Albion Hub address is: Thornsdale, Albion Hill, Brighton BN2 2NN.
