Food Poverty Awareness
Free course for residents, volunteers and professionals who provide support and information.
With fast rising food and fuel prices, reductions in wages and benefits we have seen a huge rise in people being referred to food banks and other emergency help. We are also seeing a different kind of long term food poverty, with more people struggling to eat – or eat healthily – on a very tight budget.
Join the experts from Brighton and Hove Food Partnership, learn how to recognise food poverty, explore the wider issues and identify the advice we can provide for people in need.
