Your Community, Your Rights!
This is the first event of a series that aims to bring people together to discuss their experience using the Community Rights listed in the Localism Act (2011). It is also for those who are not familiar with community rights and want to learn about it from the very people that have used them.
The city of Brighton & Hove has 11 Assets of Community Value that have been listed by very passionate local people who want to protect the buildings that are valuable for their community.
Join the discussion to share and learn about how these rights work with practical examples, what has been challenging, what has worked well and what could be improved.
We are aiming to send the findings of the discussion as feedback to the council to be included in their consultation for the City Plan part two report.
