The Power Group

The Power Group is a self-advocacy group for young people with learning disabilities (Aged 16 – 25).

Do you know anyone who would benefit from having a space to talk to other young people
with learning disabilities about things that interest or concern them?

It’s a place where young people can make new friends, get help to speak up for themselves, find out information and get support from other young people with learning disabilities.

The group runs fortnightly on Wednesdays at The Young People’s Centre,
Ship Street.  4-6pm

Please pass this information on to anyone or any groups who might be
interested.

NB:  The Power group has been running for 2 years and is supported by
Amaze and Brighton and Hove Speak Out
