‘Pink Ribbons Inc’ Free Film Screening and Discussion

Why are people still dying of breast cancer? What happens to money we raise for research? Do “pink ribbon” products really help?
The screening of the thought-provoking documentary Pink Ribbons Inc. (2011) will be followed by a discussion on taking real action on breast cancer epidemic and challenging pink ribbon culture.
This film screening is being hosted by a new group of 4 Brighton-based women interested in breast cancer for different reasons. Their aim is to start a critical debate on the social, cultural, political and medical issues related to this disease.
