The Mass Observation Project was revived in 1981 and currently has a panel of 500 writers, who answer ‘Directives’ three times a year. The panel write anonymously so they are candid in their responses. Dr Matt Cook, Professor of Modern History at Birkbeck, University of London, will explore the responses to the hard-hitting subject of AIDS.
