Join park ranger Paul Gorringe for a late-summer stroll around Sheepcote Valley, looking for all things small and wild, including the rare Silver Spotted Skipper butterfly.
The skippers are found on a fairly steep slope so this walk may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
Also, the Chalk Hawk hillside carving has just been re-surfaced in the valley and looks great.
Meet in the car park adjacent to East Brighton Park café (turn off at bottom of Wilson Avenue , drive along approach road and turn right into park). Bus numbers 1 & 7 stop nearby.
