Faith, Flint & Footstep: The Heritage of St Luke’s Brighton
You are invited to attend a special reception to mark the launch of Faith, Flint & Footstep exhibition and book. This exciting community arts and heritage project celebrates the voices of local people past and present.
Find out about the fascinating history of St Luke’s: how the Church and Parish came about and evolved; notable residents of the area; the local work house; the first health provision for women and children by women medics; the ordination of women and much more. Live performances of poetry and short speeches.
Free entry and refreshments. All welcome.
The exhibition continues in St Luke’s Church until 1 November. Opening times: Weekend 10am-4pm; Wednesday and Thursday 10am-2pm.
