Brighton NightWriters is a creative writing group that meets once a week to read and discuss members work in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Some members are published, some just write for pleasure and some are new to creative writing. You don’t have to come every week and we all enjoy sharing our stories, poetry and plays with others.
Our work includes novels, short stories, poems, and (occasionally) articles. Members take turns to read for up to 10 mins and each reading is followed by the rest of the group offering constructive criticism.
There is no membership fee, although there is a voluntary contribution of £1 per session, which goes towards the cost of producing our publications (anthologies, members’ novels and poetry) and various events.
Group meets in the function room of the Duke of Beaufort pub in Hanover.
