Body Mapping Group for Women
Free, 5 Week Workshop for women starting 23 February.
Body Mapping is a creative therapeutic tool that brings together bodily experience and visual artistic expression. It involves painting a life-size representation of one’s body onto a large surface and using colours, pictures, symbols and words to represent experiences lived through the body. The painting of the body maps takes place in a safe and confidential group setting and is interwoven with personal story telling, group discussions, guided visualization and gentle movement work.
No previous artistic experience is needed.
When? Over 5 Mondays: 23 Feb – 23 March, 2pm – 4.30pm
Facilitator: Georgia Konstantinidi is a Psychologist (BSc), Dance Movement Psychotherapist (MA DMP) and creative movement explorer.
