Sing Healthy Play Happy

Sing Healthy Play Happy is a creative music-making project for people living with early stage dementia (with low support needs related to their dementia) and their carers.

Sing Healthy Play Happy is an Open Strings Music project, commissioned by Brighton & Hove Clinical Commissioning Group.

In these fun, gentle and supportive sessions we:

  • sing familiar and new songs together
  • explore instruments and sounds
  • try out material to use at home
  • move gently to music
  • meet old and new friends

No experience is necessary: sing along, pick up an instrument, or simply sit back and listen.

When and where?

Mondays 10:45am-12:15pm until 27 June at Hangleton Library – priority for people living in Hangleton

or

Mondays 2 – 3.30pm Lavender House Senior Housing (for residents of Senior Housing schemes)
