Seeing in Colour
In this talk Professor Franklin will outline her research which aims to understand how humans see, think about and experience colour. She will focus on two aspects of colour perception: colour preference and colour categorisation, and will discuss the origins, underlying mechanisms and neural basis of these phenomena. Finally, she will demonstrate how research on colour can address broader fundamental debates in the cognitive sciences.
