Nocturnal Mammal Walk
Join community group HK Hedgehogs for this free evening walk around Hangleton & Knoll’s green spaces, where you can learn more about bats, foxes, badgers and our very own favourite, hedgehogs. We hope to catch a glimpse of some of these wonderful creatures as they go about their business!
Meet 8.30pm, at Knoll Park Pavilion, Knoll Park, off Rowan Avenue. We will set off walking just after sunset. No need to book – just come along!
Easy/moderate
The walks will be around 3.5 miles, but there are two dropping out points for people who don’t want to walk the full distance. Bring a torch if you have one and remember to wear sensible clothing and shoes.
The nearest bus route to the park is the 5, which stops at the Maytree Walk stops on Rowan Avenue and Elm Drive.
