Launch of the Community-led Housing Programme
Brighton and Hove Community Land Trust (BHCLT) is holding a launch event for the new Brighton & Hove Community-led Housing Programme at the Brighthelm Centre on Wednesday 21 February, 5.30pm.
This free event is a chance to find out more about community-led housing, why it’s good for the city and what support is available to groups who want to set up their own projects.

Community-led housing models include housing co-operatives, cohousing and self-build projects, keeping resident engagement and consent at the core. It is a way to create more genuinely affordable and secure homes, allowing local people to take control of their housing and to create community focused alternatives to the limited choices offered by the current housing market.

Let us know what ideas you have for community-led housing in Brighton & Hove and what support you need to make them happen.
Food will be provided at the start of the event (It will all be vegetarian, but please let us know if you have additional dietary requirements).
If you won’t be able to attend the event due to childcare, please get in touch asap and we might be able to help with costs.
The event will start at 5.30pm (registration from 5.15pm) and will take place in the Auditorium, Brighthelm Centre, North Road, Brighton, East Sussex BN1 1YD.
