Film Screening: The Economics of Happiness

There is something wrong with an economic system where English apples are flown to South Africa to be waxed and flown back to England to be eaten. This is a film about the crisis of the environment, the economy and the human spirit.Eoh_poster_Small

But, far from the old institutions of power, people are starting to forge a very different future…

This is a free film screening organised by Hanover Action for Sustainable Living (HASL) at the Hanover Community Centre in the Upper Hall.

There will be a discussion after the film,  followed by HASL’s Annual General Meeting.

There will also be a Hanover 10:10 exhibition of the Eco-refit works at the centre and an overview of the HASL annual report.

The evening is free (donations welcome) and if you fancy having a scoff and cooking up a treat, there will be a bring and share buffet.
