Equal Pay Workshop

Women still occupy the lowest paid jobs. At the current rate it will be 70 years before the gender pay gap – currently almost 16 per cent – eventually closes.

The Women’s Equality Party (WEP) demands equal pay for equal work, and Brighton is hosting a policy-making workshop for people who want to help achieve it.  WEP are seeking information, experience and opinion from Brighton and the South East – what works, what needs to change, new approaches and what we can do better.

The WEP is a new collaborative force in British politics uniting people of all genders, diverse ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, beliefs and experiences in the shared determination to see women enjoy the same rights and opportunities as men so that all can flourish.

Please let WEP know if there’s anything they need to do to help make the event accessible or if you would like them to provide you with a buddy to help you participate.  If you’d like to be involved but can’t get there, you can choose an online ticket and join them on the night via Skype.

You can email WEP at wepbrighton@gmail.com.
