A chance to find out more about how & why they grow and sell local organic vegetables.
What exactly do brussels sprouts look like while they are growing? How do you know the difference between a parsnip and a carrot when it’s in the soil? Hunt down and ‘spot’ as many vegetables as you can in the fields to win some organic chocolate.
Tea and cake, farmers market, fun and games including marrow hurling and spud sack races.
Then an evening celebration party for box members (5pm to 11pm)
Please travel by the hourly train if at all possible as parking will be limited.
