In this 1-hour group workshop, you will learn to play the Dundun and Djembe drums, practising hand techniques and and an authentic African rhythm.
Suitable for beginners and those with some previous drumming experience.
Tutor Fern Camera has trained with African Masters both in Africa and the UK. She has been running drumming workshops for over 10 years and performs with troupes such as Kissi Faramaya, Abaraka and Yiri Baa. She leads the advanced workshop group The Djembe Divas and Shakers – Brighton’s only All-Woman African Drumming Troupe!
