A Space to Create
‘Self Health’ is part of a government funded National Adult Education Mental Health Research Project. As part of this project Adult education providers in Brighton and Hove are delivering free courses in a range of subjects and measuring their impact on the mental wellbeing of those with mild to moderate mental health challenges.
A Space to Create is a six week course exploring creative and fun arts & crafts that will help you explore and develop your own skills. We will cover activities such as book making, decoupage, working with clay, mosaic and drawing and painting; all with an emphasis on ecoarts – working with everyday natural and recycled materials. The class aims to be therapeutic and relaxing, as well as teaching you a variety of artistic crafts and techniques. Come and enjoy the space to learn, make and create in a supportive and encouraging environment. ‘It’s great to be able to come to a safe, friendly and kind space regularly’
