The courses are free so we call them ‘freegrees’! Anyone can do these courses, regardless of educational background.
Our 2019/20 courses will start in September and we will be hosting induction events for new students. Our course brochure is currently in development but if you sign up to our newsletter we will notify you when it’s published.
This is a practical drop-in weekly session on Friday mornings from 10am to 11.30am at the Vallance Community Centre in Hove.
Please note the class not run during school holidaysHatha includes most yoga styles. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
Lisa’s classes are suitable for beginners through to more experienced practitioners. This class will balance asanas (yoga postures) that strengthen and create flexibility in the body, with a calming and relaxing experience. There is no requirement to be flexible or to have had experience of yoga before.
Yoga mats will kindly be provided by Brighton Yoga Foundation and YogaMatters, but feel free to bring your own if you have one.
Lisa has been practicing yoga for roughly twenty years and qualified as a teacher this June. She trained with Revitalise in Hove, a 200 hours yoga alliance and YMCA (government) accredited course.
No need to book, it’s a drop in, just turn up.Read more »
